From a good selection of educational park attractions to cultural centres , the Lleyn and its surrounding areas has something for everyone’s taste,, historic sites and castles, sites of scientific interest, wildlife centres, museums and fun centres are just a small selection. there is no shortage of things to do here on the Lleyn Peninsula and further a field.

Castles
We have a selection of castles on our doorstep, Criccieth, Caernarfon, Harlech just to mention a few, most of them are under the management of CADW.

National Trust

The National Trust own and manage most of the coastline from Nefyn , along the north coast to Aberdaron and then back to hell’s mouth, as well as Plas yn Rhiw, Porthdinllaen, Llanbedrog Beach as well as some Property within Snowdonia and Angelsey.

Portmeirion, Minffordd, Porthmadog.
Clough Williams-Ellis built Portmeirion from 1925 to 1975 on a peninsula off the coast of Snowdonia to show how ‘the development of a naturally beautiful site need not lead to its defilement’

Oriel Plas Glyn Y Weddw, Llanbedrog, Pwllheli

Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw Arts Centre is housed in a magnificent Grade II* Listed Victorian Gothic Mansion, located at Llanbedrog on the southern coast of the Lleyn Peninsula.

Ynys Enlli ardsey Island

Enlli lies of the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula , reputed to be the resting place of 20,000 saints , it is also a nature reserve and a haven for wildlife due to the limitations on the numbers of people allowed to visit. Day trips sail from Porth Meudwy(Aberdaron) and Pwllheli Marina .

Indigo Jones Slate Crafts , Groeslon, Caernarfon

Inigo Jones Slate Works was founded in 1861, today it’s one of the very few remaining working slate processing units in Wales. get panoramic views
